Since we didnt have the Exchange server installed locally, we never had the Exchange attributes added to our DC. Since those attributes dont exist like customattribute I cant use this article on excluding mailboxes by custom attribute. My thought process was to try excluding based on security group membership. Please let me know if this syntax might work for my needs.

I'd like to exclude a single email address or recipient from an existing dynamic distribution group in Exchange The group is the generic "Everyone" group, and I'm interested in excluding the dedicated domain account used for our external mail journaling software MailArchiva.

I've seen references online to filtering on a custom attribute, but I'm seeking a solution that will allow something like:. It's a basic request, but the Exchange Management Console only seems to allow inclusions in its filters. Perhaps this is attainable via the Powershell. Specifically with the -RecipientFilter option. You can get the current recipientFilter of your DD group and modify it however from powershell.

The only way I've seen to do this maybe someone has a more efficient way is with Transport Rules. I have a rule set up for the group applied to all messages sent to the e-mail address I want to exclude or multiple addresses where any recipient in To or CC is the distribution group address be sure to include any aliases as well. The action to take is to delete without notification.

Get the filter first:. Just one other question - we a Mail Contact we want to add - do you know the command for adding that in? That will be a bit more complicated as you already have a clause in there that only includes User mailboxes. Doesn't mean it's not possible, you simply need to add another group, but be careful not to interfere with the existing filter. With the above in mind, all you need is a simple:.

View Solution Only. Commented: You'd have to create a filter for your disto group that specifies only user boxes, else you're going to have to manually hide those mailboxes from your list.

Exchange Server Troubleshooting Companion. We use Office for hosted Exchange, but we have an on-prem Exchange server for management. When staff leave, we convert their mailbox to Shared, disable their on-prem AD account, and revoke their Office license. What I want to do is create a dynamic distribution list for staff in a particular office that will automatically exclude ex-staff whose mailboxes have been converted to shared. The CSV file contains the mailbox of an ex-staff member whose mailbox has been converted to Shared.

I've tried all sorts of variations of RecipientType and RecipientTypeValue but I haven't found the magic combination to exclude Shared mailboxes yet. Any advice would be appreciated.

The example below is a command I use to exclude everything except user mailboxes in a dynamic group. I deleted the group, and recreated it using the command you posted but also including my City filter and it looks like it worked. I'm on my phone but it looks to me why your original statement didn't work is you should have used -or between the different type of mailboxes and not -and.

There have been many requests to start advising an accumulator as well as our NAP of the Day, which is the best and strongest bet from our tipsters. Other sites will advise lucky 15's, yankees, each way doubles, and throw in a trifecta and a goliath for good measure.

These horse racing tipster sites simply aim to confuse you and you only hear about their winning bets, not their losing ones. Our racing tips are mostly single bets, which is even more impressive as most sites claiming big profits from their racing tips, often are boasting of lucky 15's and accumulators to hide their poor tips strike rate.

Until that time, you will be able to see today's racing tips to see how many winners we got that day.
